Microsoft Outlook 2000

1) In the Menu bar click on "Tools" and then "Accounts..."

2) Click on the "Mail" tab, then click "Add" and select "Mail..."



3) In Display Name, type your First and Last Name. Click "Next"

4) E-mail address: Enter username@yourdomain.com (ex: joe@eatatjoes.com) Click "Next"

5) My incoming mail server is a "POP3".

6 ) Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server: Enter [yourdomain.com] (ex: eatatjoes.com)

7 ) Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: Enter [yourdomain.com] (ex: eatatjoes.com)



8 ) Click "Next"

9 ) Account name: Enter your [username] and [password]. Click "Next".

11) Choose your connection type depending on your connection method. If connecting through a network, select local area network (LAN).

12) Click "Finish"

13) In the "Internet Accounts" window, Click the "Mail" tab and select your newly created account.

14) Click the "Properties" button and choose the "Servers" tab

15) Under "Outgoing Mail Server" verify that the "My server requires authentication" box has been checked.

16) You can leave the first radio button selected as shown here...

17) Click "OK"

18) If you have webmail available and plan on using it, then select the Advanced Tab.

19) Set the options as shown here...

20) Click "OK" > "Close"

Congratulations, your Outlook email has been set up to send and receive E-Mail.
